sizing	baby (toddler, child S, M, L, adult S, M, L) Ankle circumference: 6 (6.5, 6.5, 7, 7.5, 10.5, 11, 11.5) inches While suggested lengths are included foot length is adjustable. Size can be adjusted by slightly fulling the finished bootie.
materials	baby: 60 yds dk weight yarn in MC and CC toddler, child S,M,L: 90 yds aran weight yarn in MC and CC adult S,M,L: 160 yds super bulky yarn in MC and CC (samples in Debbie Bliss Donegal Luxury Tweed Aran, MC: 360010 CC: 360016 and Rowan Big Wool in 'white hot' and 'smokey')
gauge	baby: 24 sts / 4" in stockinette stitch toddler, child S,M,L: 22 sts / 4" in stockinette stitch adult S,M,L: 14 sts / 4" in stockinette stitch
suggested needles	baby: US #3 / 3.25 or 3.0 mm toddler, child S,M,L: US#5 / 3.75 mm adult S,M,L: US #10 / 6.0 mm (or as required to meet gauge); double pointed needles
notes	The bootie foot is knit first, then sts are picked up from the ankle opening, and the leg is worked up to a ribbed cuff. The contrast colour sole can be knit flat and sewn on at the end.
