sizing	Baby (Child, Adult Small, Medium, Large) Fits head measuring: 16 (18.5, 20, 22, 24) inches around Lady slouch is 7 (8, 8.5, 9, 9.5) inches tall Manly toque is 6 (6.5, 7.5, 8, 9) inches tall
materials	125 (150, 175, 200) yards worsted / aran weight yarn (samples shown in Madelinetosh Vintage in 'silver fox', 'smokestack' and 'tart')
gauge	18 sts / 4" in stockinette stitch using larger needles
suggested needles	US #6 / 4mm and US #8 / 5mm (or as req'd to meet gauge); 16" circular and/or double pointed needles, cable needle
notes	This hat is knit in the round from brim to crown. For a slouchy lacy hat, follow the 'lady slouch' instructions. For a cabled hat, follow the 'manly toque' instructions.
